Was lured in by the lovely smell and the promise of speciality coffee and wasn't disappointed. The slices of pizzas were enormous and because it was after 5pm, came in at bargain price of £3.50. Mostly vegetarian flavours as well, which also won major brownies points from me.
The coffee was slightly disappointing, as it was just average rather than anything to write home about, but hey I have high standards coffee wise. The blend changes every week, so don't let that dissuade you.
All in all, very reasonably priced and perfectly located right by the station. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the area. -

The aesthetic was nice, but the coffee was underwhelming. I was actually really disappointed because after walking past this place several days in a row, I was really looking forward to trying it again. For a cafe, good espresso should be a bigger priority!

What happened to Remon, I wonder? As I take another small bite at my cold Arancino (or however it's spelled) my mind drifts to times when this place as, truly, Finchley Road's hope of a coffee shop Renaissance!
You have to understand one thing: when it comes to breakfast, Finchley Road is the equivalent of a 12 hour drive across the Nevada Desert. So when this placed opened, I honestly thought it would deliver on the promise of decent coffee and suitable Saturday morning food.
And for a while, it did! The staff was amazingly friendly, welcoming, warm. They would make recommendations on the food, sell artisan bread and make you want to come back.
But then, something change; the staff was no longer the same. Subsequent visits proved that the staff was changing almost as fast as the double-dealers driving up the main road.
This morning, we finally hit rock bottom. You l know when the person attending you treats you like she's doing you a favour? Looks upset and bothered the whole time, gets your order wrong and THEN argues with you that you ordered something else? This place is now cluttered, chaotic and the opposite of what it once was. Tables wobble with the remains of the previous customer still on them. Eat-in food is served in boxes. They don't even offer to heat up what's available and every time I come here there seems to be less focus on customer service and more focus on profit.
Good luck, Remon. We had a dream. It was nice while it lasted. -

Remon Coffee House needs you--support quality local! Tucked away under a covered walkway around the corner from Finchley Road station, Remon's neighbors include Pizza Express and a Japanese restaurant that also advertises laser hair removal... Yikes!
Fresh tiramisú and white silvertip tea are my orders on my third time around. Both are classic and delicious.
I've also had the hugely portioned and well-priced pizza slab on an earlier visit--nothing revelatory, but satisfying to the core.
Best of all, the service at Remon really earns your business. I walked in with a Waitrose take-away tea knowing they would let me have it with whatever I had in Remon, but they put me to shame by offering me a free (and much better) tea because they thought I deserved to know how good it was!
If you speak Italian, come in and feel right at home. If you don't, come in and feel at home anyway. -

This is one of these coffees that are difficult to find. Real Italian, with Italian workers and Italian delicious food. I have only stopped a couple of times because I moved in the area two weeks ago, but I already have my loyalty card to get these wonderful free coffees on my way to work.
They are really nice and the food is good quality. I have not seen yet that tiramisú in the pictures, otherwise I would have gone M-A-D, so now I will be looking for it every day. But the savoury looks amazing, the sweets are really nice and I cant wait to stop one Saturday with time enough to enjoy one of their tea varieties (many, by the way).
